Enterprise, Alabama
Known as the City of Progress, Enterprise is a growing Micropolitan in south central Alabama. We have the southern roots and traditions you might expect, including friendliness, hospitality, and a slight southern draw. We also have the wonderful influence of many cultures due to our ongoing association with Fort Rucker, the home of Army Aviation. Enterprise is the perfect blend of both worlds, mixing southern tradition and cultural diversity.
As in most small cities, our downtown is the pulse of our community, and it is the home of a very special feature, the Boll Weevil Monument. This monument is a tribute to the perseverance of the men and women who overcame adversity and learned to change with the times.
Downtown Enterprise offers activities and entertainment for all ages. There is unique retail shopping, restaurants, antiques, florists, an interactive art studio, bed and breakfast, museums, and so much more! Please see our Business Listings for complete information.
Our downtown is the location of several special events each year. A few of these include The World's Smallest St. Patrick's Day Parade, Our Fabulous Fourth Friday Events from April to August, The Boll Weevil Fall Festival in October, Holiday Open House in November, and a Christmas Parade. Check out our Calendar for a complete list.
